An artist and creator with a deep interest in the possibilities
of digital media and immersive environments in their relationship
to people and spaces. Previously, founder of Open Road,
then played with experimental ambient/techno
pioneers Shen in the early nineties,
followed by 10 years experience as a Creative
Director within several internet and television companies. Positions
included Head of New Media at Rapido, a television production
company responsible for many cutting edge youth culture programmes.
Former Director of Realise Ltd, Scotland's largest Web development
agency, and founder of The Muse, one of the worlds first online

hamilton
Graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 1972. Postgraduate
training in Community Development. In the mid seventies experimented
with social and open spaces, play environments, through to community
action projects. In the eighties developed a body of art works
which examined control and social engineering-exploring the creativity
of communities within closed built environments. In the nineties
became one of the European organiser of networking cities –The
European Digital Cities Programme. In 2000 embarked on range of
environmental art projects working with scientist from the European
Bio-net programme. Most recently exploring the idea of communication
spaces and 'threshold' experiences, through threshold 10.

bell
Graduate in History of Art, Glasgow University (2004). Scholarship
at the Hunterian Art Gallery photographic library (Glasgow). Currently
Research Assistant for both Threshold 10 and sculptor Andy Goldsworthy.
Hopes to do further postgraduate research in the future, specialising
in the reception and representation of Czech Modernism..
